The idea of Donald

Whenever we read something that Donald Trump says don't you wonder where does he get these thoughts and ideas ? Is it from his favourite tabloid or his life long experience dealing in his business from property developer to beauty pageants to golf course and to reality TV shows? Who has he met in his 70 years as a child growing up to working under his father before taking over.

What experiences shape his character and make him who we see today. How much can you understand from reading his books? Does he had a typical life most business people lives or its maybe just so exceptional so different that no other has the same. Are there others who has similar if not identical lives ? They just have not taken the plunge into government and politics.

How does those who voted for Donald see him in comparison to their own lives ? Is it similar to what he does and says or the exact opposite that attracts these voters?

Does those who works for him really knows what he is thinking? Even his own family knows what Donald thinks?

Brexit for Theresa May

With a hand written letter UK prime minister Theresa May made sure she will be remembered as the Brexit prime minister instead of David Cameron who actually started this road to Brexit with his offer to hold a referendum on UK's membership in EU during his election campaign. Signing the letter herself will sketch her name into a part of UK history books no matter how bad she handles the rest of the negotiations with her former friends in EU.

Being a politician Theresa May put herself alongside former prime minister Margaret Thatcher who brought UK into the EU over 40 years ago before Theresa May was even old enough to vote. Such is the skill of the politician that put her legacy before she even start the hard road ahead that could split more than one union if she can't convince Scotland and Northern Ireland to stay in United Kingdom

Next move from Donald

After that very great failure to repeal and replace Obamacare with his version of great healthcare that most including Congress budget office have said would essentially cut costs by cutting millions of Americans out of life saving healthcare Donald Trump have stumbled into the fight for tax reform that have eluded so many other presidents before him.

While he has declared again he will enact great tax reform to make America great again,  it's more likely that big business will benefit more than the average working person. The philosophy behind any tax cuts would be to encourage more private investment and consumption to increase growth and job creation across industries. How much that will work out is hard to predict consider the complexity of the current tax system.

How many of the votes can Trump get to play along his plans and who will he chooses to lead this difficult task ? Will he still rely on the GOP or change tack to woo some moderate Democrats  to back his plans.

Trump's GOP block his repeal and replace Obamacare plans

【In Major Defeat for Trump, Push to Repeal Health Law Fails - NYTimes.com】 | https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/03/24/us/politics/health-care-affordable-care-act.html?emc=edit_th_20170325&nl=todaysheadlines&nlid=67432265&_r=0&referer=

Economy and politics

More than 5 years ago I started this blog to try writing something that I would like to share and the world has moved on since especially in politics more than in our economy.

Donald J Trump has been elected President of the USA with so much controversy that makes me wonder if he can ' Make America Great Again'. Today his attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare with his version of healthcare law is knocked into coma as he couldn't get enough votes to deliver his first legislative baby in Congress. His earlier attempts through executive orders has created more uncertain for the future.

He has stated that he will move on to   tax reform instead of trying to resuscitate his first baby shows he is aware that he could be losing momentum to spur USA out of it's Fed induced slow recovery. Unless he can get a big bang with his tax reform plans he could fall into a lame duck presidency in his first 60 days.

Much more important is whether he would abandon the economy just like he has abandoned healthcare to carve his legacy in foreign policy instead if he fails again to get the Republican controlled Congress toapprove his second major legislative plan We can see his foreign policy skills on Twitter every day. Let's pray it doesn't need to go there.

We can only wait and see from our shores far away.
